3 Difficult Obstacles
These barriers keep us from fully experiencing God's love
Obstacles prevent you from experiencing the promise of God's love. Like sin, they are based on falsehoods. They inhibit you from growing closer to God. Avoid the temptation of being self-reliant and trying to overcome these barriers by yourself. Reach out to Jesus for help.
Fear
Fear keeps you from fully trusting God and you become paralyzed. You are preferring the status quo rather than exploring the possibilities of what God is offering you.
God's way is courage.
Unforgiveness
Unforgiveness is a spiritual poison and can lead to deadly anger.
It quietly corrupts your heart and ignores God’s love. Let go of the bitter taste of revenge and forgive others so you can experience the healing power of Jesus.
God's way is always forgiveness.
Shame
Shame is not from God; it comes from another source. It says you are not worthy of God's love.
Guilt however points out sin and can inspire you to turn back to God for forgiveness.
God's way is encouragement.
